Research & Development

There is always a better way to achieve the goal.

Always A Better Way.

Anthony Zingarelli has built a reputation for tackling challenging design and construction problems across multiple industries, often finding new approaches where conventional solutions fall short.

His approach goes beyond conventional design. Anthony is continually researching, developing, and testing new ideas across the building industry, from improving operations and workflow to rethinking layouts, construction methods, building concepts, and the tools used to bring them to life.

At the heart of his work is a simple philosophy: there is always a better way to achieve the goal.

Whether developing a new building concept, solving a difficult construction challenge, improving how a space functions, or inventing a tool to address a problem in the field, Anthony Zingarelli approaches each challenge with the same combination of practical experience, creative thinking, and a willingness to question the conventional approach.

SolarSocket™

Emergency power, reimagined. A simpler approach to residential backup power.

SolarSocket™ in final testing — an exterior solar panel supplies dedicated emergency outlets inside the home.

SolarSocket™ is a new residential emergency-power system currently in the final stages of development and testing at Zingarelli Designs.

The concept began with a simple question: why should backup power require a generator, fuel storage, extension cords, or a large whole-home battery system?

SolarSocket is being developed as a compact alternative. An exterior solar panel captures energy and supplies a dedicated backup-power system connected to strategically located emergency outlets inside the home. During an outage, those outlets can provide an accessible source of power for essential low-power devices without starting a generator or running cords through doors and windows.

The goal isn’t to power an entire house. It’s to keep the things that matter most available when normal power isn’t: phones and communications, lighting, internet equipment, small electronics, and other appropriately sized essential loads.

Designed around simplicity, quiet operation, renewable energy, and professional installation, SolarSocket is intended to make emergency power feel less like operating a piece of equipment and more like using an ordinary wall outlet.

Current Development Status

SolarSocket is an active R&D project and is currently undergoing final system testing and validation. Specifications, capabilities, appearance, installation requirements, and commercial availability may change as development continues.
